Creation Festival: The Tour Rolls Out First Weekend Great Success

Creation Festival: The Tour, the buzz tour of the fall, kicked off last week in Cincinnati, OH. This one of a kind “Creation on wheels” experience will make stops in 30-plus cities across the Northeast, Midwest and South, with each date offering a community outreach event and a strong evangelistic message. Fans can follow the tour with exclusive online coverage.

“The first week of the Tour has been amazing,” says Nick Kulb, Tour Producer. “The shows have exceeded our expectations and after a quick stop back home, we are ready to get back on the road. We have seen God working through the first few shows and we are excited to see what He has in store for the weeks ahead.”

The Tour kicked off in Cincinnati, OH and made stops in Charleston, WV, Cullman, AL, Ozark, AL. In the first four dates, the shows have seen over 7,700 attendees and many decisions to follow Christ. This week they will hit Sterling Heights, MI on 10/16, Hoffman Estates, IL on 10/17 and Green Bay, WI on 10/18.

Fans can follow the tour online through the Tour Blog posted on the CreationFestTour.com website, featuring daily updates, fun videos and exclusive insights into the tour. CCM Magazine.com will also host a Tour blog, that will feature updates from band members. Fans can also find exclusive, behind the scenes coverage on VideoRocket.com and HearItFirst.com. VideoRocket will be featuring video blogs from the bands as well as on the road updates from Worth Dying For. HearItFirst will chronicle all the aspects of life on the road and what it takes to put a tour like this together.

Patterned after the Creation Festivals, the Tour will be headlined by BEC Recordings band, Kutless, with special guests, Thousand Foot Krutch and Pillar, as well as female-fronted rock band, Fireflight and Run Kid Run. Integrity’s Worth Dying For will provide a time of praise and worship and KJ-52 will also perform and serve as MC for the night. World-renowned speaker, Bob Lenz, will share the gospel each night, with Pastor Harry Thomas, Creation Festival director and co-founder and Teen Mania’s founder, Ron Luce, also joining the tour on select dates. A special “pre-show” will kick off the event, featuring performances by Esterlyn and Capital Lights.
